Meet Liz, Founder of

The Discovery of Wellness

Liz is a herbalist and astrologer. She has studied with some of the best teachers in the industry and continues to be a lifelong learner to expand her knowledge every year. With a grateful heart, she aims to help others discover the wisdom of herbal teas and how astrology can give insight into your character and life.

Liz lives in Hinsdale, a suburb of Chicago, with her husband, two sons, and 2 dogs. She cares deeply about her family, friends and community. She is an avid cook, gardener, party host, and plays racquet sports year round. She is also involved in her community and serves on many charitable organizations raising money for causes serving women & children.

Herbal Tea

I created the herbal teas because I was an avid tea drinker and wellness advocate- but I wasn’t finding the ingredients and the tea blends
in the market that I wanted. It’s something I use as a wellness tool- easy to incorporate into your routine to stay hydrated, and a moment for self-care.

I studied to become a herbalist to understand the various herbs and their synergies, actions and how they can support the body. I thoughtfully created the various Discovery of Wellness Tea Blends to have a functional wellness focus but also for taste. With the support of my community, I am grateful that Discovery of Wellness Teas has flourished! I am passionate about nurturing others helping people discover the wisdom of the plants and how it can help bring vitality and balance to their everyday life. 

Astrology

My readings have a practical approach that assists others to gain clarity of their characteristics and highest potential. I am passionate about having the honor of guiding individuals on their journey of self-discovery and holding space for deep understanding and support. The magic of Astrology can enhance clarity, authenticity and connection to oneself to embody your greatest purpose.

Reiki Practitioner

Reiki healing has been a powerful healing modality. It is a catalyst for breaking through barriers, healing and clearing emotional energy. This ancient practice clears energy so one can have a higher level of peace. While I am not taking individual clients at the moment, I use Reiki to keep a high vibration & clarity in my everyday herbalism and astrology practices.
